BOTOX® Cosmetic is a safe effective treatment to reverse the visible signs of aging such as crow's feet, frown lines and forehead lines.

What are BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments like?
BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are simple with only minimal discomfort and take only a few minutes time. No preparation is needed prior to a treatment. Using a tiny micro-needle, a small amount of BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the overactive facial muscles in the regions to be treated. Normal activity can be resumed immediately following a treatment.

What are the expected results of BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments?
BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are a very effective means of reducing dynamic facial wrinkles such as crow's feet, frown lines and forehead lines leading to a more youthful, pleasant appearance. The vast majority of patients are very pleased with their results and find their results improve with sequential treatments.

How long do BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments last?
BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments generally last between three to six months so that two or three treatments a year are sufficient to maintain a more youthful, pleasant appearance. The first few times you will probably need to have the injections every 3 months. After this the facial muscles weaken significantly so that you may be able to 4 to 6 months between injections.

Dynamic facial wrinkles, one of the most prominent visible signs of aging, result from repeated contraction of certain facial muscles. Botox injections cause these muscles to relax which softens overlying skin wrinkles.

Are BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments safe?
BOTOX® Cosmetic has been safely used for over a decade to treatment a variety of medical conditions. When used to treat facial wrinkles, the most common side effect is temporary bruising at the injection site. Rarely, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections can cause temporary weakness of adjacent facial muscles leading to asymmetry of facial expression or a drooping eyelid.
All side effects are temporary, with most lasting no more than a few weeks
